In Bali, there are several types of ceremonies are usually held as follows:
Starting from the ceremony to Humans:
Ceremony "DAPETAN / BIRTH (Meaning of Words: get a child)

Once the child is born the umbilical cord will be made offerings and planted front door wrapped in coconut shells that have been split and wrapped in cloth. Umbilical cord according to the beliefs of Bali is a brother that led to the birth.
TIGA BULANAN
The ceremony is held after 3-month-old baby is even called "quarterly"
On the day the baby is created for all the offerings for its survival and hopefully not exposed to danger, not sick and grow healthily.
On the day the baby is given a name that was chosen by her parents so that one day each name is believed to bring blessings to the baby.
OTONAN
Otonan ceremony is held once every 6 months where the day coincided with the day of birth. The process was simple ceremony which consists of several offerings to hope the God that given the longevity and survival of the old.
POTONG GIGI ( Teeth Cutting )
When he was an adult then they will make a ceremony of "cutting teeth" or called Mepandes.This ceremony is the goal to eliminate all the bad qualities properties controlled by worldly desires so that it will become adults who are useful to society.In this ceremony the material cost is quite high because there are several stages at the time of carrying out the ceremony such as: invite all family, friends, and local officials are authorized to participate in the ceremony that the cost of consumption must also be prepared carefully.The ceremony is usually attended by all the close family and all the local communities.One very unique thing that happened during the ceremony take place is "Parents of children who will cry immediately upon cutting teeth lasts"I've done some investigation about this cause is very easy, because the cry arose immediately because the mind of the mother who had since birth until now grown to feel very happy and thrilled to see her son had grown up and will be ready to face life twists the future. NGANTEN / PAWIWAHAN (marriage)
The ceremony took place when it has found a life partner and will be bound in a ceremony "Mesakapan".The ceremony requires a very high cost is also compared with the other ceremonies.The ceremony consists of several steps that led into the ceremony peak "Mesakapan"All families will also attend the ceremony to help out at the same time witnessed the ceremony.The ceremony was led by a pastor or a member Sulinggih who perform the ceremony.
NGABEN ( Cremation )
The ceremony is held in Bali for those who died and made the ceremony for the release of all worldly ties and back to its origin.
The ceremony is also very unique and usually attract tourists to come to witness the cremation process.
Cremation ceremony requires a fairly high cost for people or families of low economic , if the ceremony performed by a Brahmin family class or upper class then will spend a very large cost.
CEREMONY FOR ANIMALTUMPEK KANDANG
The Balinese are thick with customs also have a habit or a must carry out a cultural heritage that is making ceremony for pet cages Tumpek famous retreat. Where understanding of Tumpek = Saturday , while Cage is meant is the house of Pets / animals themselves.
So the day is called Tumpek Kandang also conducted once every 6 months.
People of Bali on this day to make offerings for their pet because the animal is also a means of supporting all things in life example: Cows used for plowing fields, Pigs are commonly used complementary ceremony, chicken is also used for ceremonies and other facilities.
In this day all the Balinese people make the ceremony as gratitude for all that is given by God to all the necessities of life mutually supportive and complementary.
CEREMONY FOR PLANTS
TUMPEK UDUH
In Bali also have great respect for the preservation or protects plants that produce particularly like: fruit, flowers and many others.
Plants also made a ceremony as gratitude because it gave life both in terms of supplementary ceremony, as a food ingredient and is fully very useful for humans.
In terms of plant health also gives freshness of the air we breathe and provide comfort for humans.
The ceremony for the plant known by the name Tumpek UDUH where the sense of Contemporary Wage = Saturday while UDUH means porridge because on that day all the Balinese people make porridge from rice as a means of ceremony for the plant.
The day was also called Tumpek BUBUH (Tumpek Porridge)
